The Rolling Stones CD-Maximum Edition [03 Jan 2010|06:11pm]
veuzer
A couple of weeks ago I have bought the last CD needed to gather the entire, almost unavailable for purchasing The Rolling Stones CD-Maximum edition series. But I never got around to advertising this. So let me now share my joy with everyone. This is an awesome edition with thick double page spreads, text looseleafs and about 8-10 bonus tracks to each album. I don't like all these releases, but to possess the whole additional material I've mentioned above I bought every CD. They haven't been released since mid-2000. Before I've collected all this I found a place to download it all from in FLAC:

Vol. 1 The Rolling Stones
Vol. 2 England's Newest Hit Makers
Vol. 3 12 X 5
Vol. 4 No. 2
Vol. 5 Now!
Vol. 6 Out of Our Heads (USA)
Vol. 7 Out of Our Heads (UK)
Vol. 8 December's Children (and Everybody's)
Vol. 9 Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) (USA)
Vol. 10 Aftermath (UK)
Vol. 11 Aftermath (USA)
Vol. 12 Got Live if You Want It!
Vol. 13 Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) (UK)
Vol. 14 Between the Buttons (UK)
Vol. 15 Between the Buttons (USA)
Vol. 16 Their Satanic Majesties Request
Vol. 17 Flowers
Vol. 18 Beggars Banquet
Vol. 19 Through the Past Darkly
Vol. 20 Let It Bleed
Vol. 21 Get Yer Ya-Ya's out!
Vol. 22 Sticky Fingers
Vol. 23 Stone Age
Vol. 24 Milestones
Vol. 25 Exile on Main St.
Vol. 26 Gimme Shelter
Vol. 27 Rock 'n' Rolling Stones
Vol. 28 No Stone Unturned
Vol. 29 Metamorphosis

My deepest apologies to those of you with dial-up, but I have 66 pictures from this concert, and thought it best to make the least amount of posts possible, so I've split the lot in two.

Mick Jagger

It's a kind of fanart, I suppose ...
I did it the other day, it's the size of a postcard :-)
It looks a bit vintage, I am a fond of art and collages, and I did that one to try what it could be with Mick Jagger ... and it gives that :)

WHY DO YOU LIKE MICK? For loads of reasons. Hmm I've always liked the orginal rock and well I just thought I'd give the Stones a try and loved his voice. I also think he's very attractive and seems to come of a really nice and funny bloke.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVE SOLO SONG OF MICK’S? Peace For THe Wicked.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVE ROLLING STONES SONG? I like most of them but if I had to chose it would be either Paint It Black or Respectable.

WHAT DO YOU THINK WAS MICK’S HOTTEST ERA? Rock and Roll Circus but he looks good most of the time. ((Other then in the Dancing in the street, but I'll put that down to the 80's fashion.))

ANYTHING I COULD DO TO MAKE THIS COMMUNITY BETTER? I'm new so from what I've seen it looks fantastic.

WHY DO YOU LIKE MICK? Oh, so many reasons. In fact some years ago, I wasn't interested at all in "old" music, you know, when you are 14 you must be fashionable to be accepted ... But when I began to listen to rock music, I wanted to listen also to "old" singers, because I wanted to see the evolution of music, and so on, and many actual singers said they took their inspiration from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, and so on. So I began to listen to the Beatles, and I am a fan of them, and then I discovered the song "Too many cooks", recorded by John Lennon & Mick Jagger. I was curious about Mick Jagger and it gave me the wish to know the Rolling Stones a bit more, and now I love them at least as much as the Beatles ! :-D And especially Mick mostly because of his solo career - I like each member, sure, but with the solo career, it changes a bit and I now prefered him ^^

WHAT’S YOUR FAVE SOLO SONG OF MICK’S? Peace For THe Wicked, perhaps ...

WHAT’S YOUR FAVE ROLLING STONES SONG? Ruby Tuesday, Under my thumb, Moonlight Mile, Paint it black ... All :)

WHAT DO YOU THINK WAS MICK’S HOTTEST ERA? Rock and Roll Circus :-D But he is still sexy anyway, so it's hard to make a choice !

ANYTHING I COULD DO TO MAKE THIS COMMUNITY BETTER? Oh, I am a new suscriber so it's hard to judge so quickly, it seems quite great :)
I hope you can easily understand me, my english is sometimes a bit ... clumsy, I do some mistakes and so on, I hope it's ok anyway.

I bought this book for $4 at Wal-mart today. The Wal-mart I went to was in Germantown, MD. I don't know if the Wal-mart around your way is selling them for that cheap but this book was $40 when it came out.

But check out your Wal-mart and see.
